Electrician

Your new company
You will be working as part of a wider trades team, removing and replacing kitchens & bathrooms in domestic council properties around the West Lothian area. Due to an increase in demand, they are looking to add an electrician to this project as soon as possible.
Your new role
Your duties may include:

• Electrical installation, testing, and fault-finding in council kitchen and bathroom upgrade programmes.
• Installation of consumer units, lighting, sockets, extractor fans, electric showers, and smoke detectors.
• Complete EICRs, inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS 7671.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations, safe isolation procedures, and council quality standards.
• Work as part of a multi-trade team to hand over the projects on time and to a high standard.
• Excellent tenant liaison and customer service within occupied social housing environments.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified electrician and be able to provide a valid ECS card. Due to the nature of the role, a works van can be offered - therefore, you will need to have a valid UK driving licence with minimal points and/or endorsements. This work will be in voids or occupied properties, so you will be working around members of the public and full-time members of staff.
What you'll get in return
