Full Job Description
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Officer with a recognised trade background to join our multi-skilled team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day maintenance of a varied property portfolio, applying your practical trade knowledge to assess repairs, liaise with contractors and colleagues, and ensure works are completed to a high standard. You will also be responsible for managing compliance-related repairs and ensuring our properties remain safe, well maintained and fully compliant with relevant standards and regulations. The post requires someone who has a recognised trade background with practical experience in property maintenance, repairs, or construction-related works. They should be confident in diagnosing repair issues, assessing the quality of completed works whilst completing pre and post inspections, and liaising effectively with contractors and internal colleagues. Experience of managing maintenance works within agreed timescales, while ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and property standards, is essential. Highly developed IT skills will also be required to enable use of Teams, Share point and various Microsoft applications.
