Full Job Description
As Entertainment Operations Director you will lead the day-to-day management of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, overseeing facility operations, team leadership, and alignment with wider UK Entertainment activities. You will drive high standards of delivery while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environment, ensuring full alignment with MSC's operational and cultural standards. Your Impact
- Lead, develop and manage a growing multidisciplinary team within a creative studio environment
- Act as a key point of contact with MSC's global structure, ensuring strong communication and alignment
- Oversee daily planning, scheduling and venue management across a multi studio rehearsal facility
- Manage and control operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and value delivery
- Oversee supplier relationships, contracts and service standards
- Ensure all operations meet health, safety and compliance standards
- Support the delivery of high quality rehearsal, training and production activity
Experience at Director/Senior Manager level within a creative, performance, or educational facility - Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and large teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field Your Essentials
- Experience within entertainment, cruise, maritime, hospitality or large scale venue operations
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international teams
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English required, additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion
- Existing right to live and work in the UK
