Environmental Health Technician
Council Offices, Kirkwall
35 hours per week
Permanent

£42,908 - £47,397 
£23.51 - £25.97 per hour

The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to the Service Manager Environmental Health.

Your working pattern is 0900-1700 Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.

The purpose of this role is to help the Council meet its statutory duties and deliver services that make a difference to communities throughout Orkney.

The Environmental Health Technician will protect and maintain public health by providing technical assistance with all aspects of environmental health work, including personally dealing with high volume lower risk cases and providing a high-quality service to the public, partners and business community.
