We’re looking for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating function and turn enquiries into profitable, well-managed projects across major UK infrastructure sectors.

This is a senior, hands-on role with real influence over how we win work, manage risk and drive growth. You can be based anywhere in the UK, as long as you can spend one day per week on site in Bellshill.

The role

• Lead the estimating team and manage all RFQs and tenders
• Convert enquiries into accurate, competitive and profitable bids
• Balance commercial risk with delivery capability
• Review and negotiate commercial and contract terms
• Align workload with business capacity and project schedules
• Maintain cost data within StruMIS
• Track performance including conversion rates and margins
• Support sales strategy and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in estimating within fabrication or structural steel
• Commercially astute with solid contract and financial awareness
• Confident leading and developing a small team
• Strong technical understanding of steel fabrication
• Experience using StruMIS and Microsoft Office
• Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
