Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic EV Network Operations Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow, to help facilitate the smooth operation of our EV charging network., This role's core duties involve managing and overseeing all operational aspects of Arnold Clark's electric vehicle charging network.

You will manage faults and maximise charger uptime, work with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems, as well as liaise with branches to provide advice and collate system reports.

The ideal candidate for this new position should be a team player who is skilled in system management and organisation. Excellent communication skills are essential to enable us to deliver a high-quality service to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Day-to-day duties

  • Day-to-day management of Arnold Clark charging network's back-office systems.

  • Manage users access protocols.

  • Manage charging faults and liaise with stakeholders to diagnose and solve issues to maximise uptime of network.

  • Analyse common faults and trends and implement new processes to reduce likelihood of reoccurrence.

  • Monitor, improve and report on network performance and usage.

  • Liaise with product suppliers.

  • Develop a working environment to enable all future needs to be managed.

  • Support broader EV strategies and projects as required.
