Experteer Overview AsFabrication Production Supervisor you lead and motivate production teams to safely deliver critical engineering and manufacturing work supporting UK defence. You own production activities, drive performance, and contribute to major marine programmes while developing your leadership and operational management career. You work on site in Rosyth, focusing on safe, efficient production that meets cost, quality, and schedule targets. This role combines hands-on leadership with accountability for delivery in a high-profile, national-security context. Pay / Benefits
- Lead and motivate teams to safely achieve production targets and work packages Manage workloads to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements Maintain safe working practices and comply with policies and procedures Set daily production objectives and monitor performance Drive productivity and efficiency within the area Own operational performance and ensure delivery of production activities Tasks Experience supervising engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, shipbuilding, marine, or production teams Knowledge of installation activities involving pumps, valves, pipework, shaft lines, engines, rudders, stabilisers, or similar mechanical systems Ability to interpret engineering and installation drawings Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Practical problem-solving with proactive decision-making Time-served in a fabrication discipline with extensive recent experience Security clearances: able to achieve and maintain SC clearance IOSH / Working at Height / Confined Spaces or equivalent safety training is desirable ONC/HNC in engineering-related discipline desirable Experience using IFS or similar ERP systems is desirable Key requirements generous holiday allowance matched pension with life assurance Aviva DigiCare+ access (digital GP, health check, nutrition) employee shopping savings portal payment of professional fees 10 days special paid leave for Reservists
