Facilities Assistant - Driver / Catering

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from your salary following commencement of employment. Reporting to the Catering Supervisor you will assist in the provision of a quality catering service within this location and associated locations, as required. As a Facilities Assistant/Driver within a kitchen, you will prepare and serve meals, operate a till and undertake specific cleaning duties. You will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations. You must have the ability to work under pressure, be a team player, operate within food safety and nutritional guidelines and hold a valid UK driving license.

Flexibility regarding start & finish times, to suit the needs on the service, would be desirable. This post is Term Time. Start date is subject to PVG, license and Occupational Health Checks.
