Activities may include pottery, Zumba, gym sessions, bowling, cinema trips, and occasional pampering such as hair or nail appointments. I have Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, and Startle Seizures, so I need support with day-to-day activities. I have a busy lifestyle and a good sense of humour so there's rarely a dull moment! About the Role This is a person-centred support role focused on enabling me to take part in everyday life and the activities I enjoy. Support will include:

- Supporting social and leisure activities
I am looking for someone who is: - Friendly, patient, and reliable
- Caring and respectful
- Proactive and encouraging

- Happy to support someone to try new experiences Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided. Essential Requirement
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (required to drive my manual mobility vehicle)
- Willing to undergo PVG Scotland Disclosure checks This role would be perfect for someone that is looking to gain valuable experience in delivering person centred care alongside other commitments.
- Casual 0 hours contract on an ad hoc basis
- Shifts offered to cover 24-hour support needs
- Advance notice of shifts will be provided Typical commitments include:
- Approximately one sleepover shift per month (24 hours including sleeping night)
- Approximately one weekend afternoon/evening shift per month (around 6 hours) Typical sleepover timings:
- Thursday 12pm - Friday 12pm

If you enjoy making a real difference and supporting someone to live life their way, I would love to hear from you. Apply now to become part of my team I look forward to meeting you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are selected for the next stage of the recruitment process a member of the GCIL Team will be in touch to arrange the next steps.
