Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working with a high volume and high quality manufacturing business based in Irvine to welcome a Finance Analyst to their business on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Closing processes and control reporting correctness of units
• Preparation of financial and operational analysis
• Support units cost management processes, including both variable and fixed costs
• Involvement in investment calculations and follow up
• Support site manufacturing forecasting and budgeting process
• Business plan follow up and support
• Ensure and support periodic physical checks of the unit's working capital and fixed assets
• Participation and support to internal benchmarking within the business area
• Involvement in the Statutory accounts process, ensuring compliance with defined standards and UK accounting standards
• Support local UK audit process
• Ensure taxation compliance with defined standards and UK taxation requirements
• Internal controls self-assessment and monitoring
• Involvement in adhoc global projects

Skills and Requirements

• Have a degree level qualification or equivalent and are planning on currently progressing towards your professional Accountancy qualification
• Manufacturing sector experience would be advantageous
• Have good networking, team working and relationship building capabilities
• Able to work in virtual team and use your own initiative
• Have good business and financial understanding and are results driven
• Good knowledge of reporting tools (SAP, Excel, PowerBI, MS Office) is beneficial
