Finance Assistant (Temporary)

Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment (formally known as Hutcheon Mearns) are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in St Andrews for a temporary Finance Assistant, for a fixed term contract until mid-end October. The role is full-time hours, however part-time hours will also be considered by client. Hybrid flexible working. This position will pay £25,353 - £26,707 per year.

The Opportunity

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and update spreadsheets and records
• Collect and check information from a range of sources
• Prepare regular reports and ensure data is accurate
• Create and process invoices
• Support payroll administration, including processing timesheets and payment information
• Check and process expense claims in line with guidelines
• Assist with purchasing and ordering supplies
• Support budget monitoring and financial reporting
• Arrange travel, accommodation, and meeting bookings when required
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team
• Assist with ad hoc tasks and provide cover for colleagues as needed

The Candidate

• You will have previous experience in an administration role in a busy office
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage and organise data and records
• Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Renumeration and Benefits

• Up to £26,707 per year
• Full-time hours (36.25hours per week) - part-time considered
• Hybrid flexible working
• Temporary position until mid-end October
