Finance Business Partner

medac Pharma LLP is a fast-growing, privately owned pharmaceutical company specialising in product development and the treatment of diseases within the key areas of Autoimmune, Urology and Haematology and Onco Generics. This is a particularly exciting time for the business as it is in a period of significant growth and transformation, marked by global expansion, major regulatory milestones and strategic partnerships, adding further growth to an already successful portfolio across the UK and Europe.

The Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to functions, providing financial insight, analysis, and decision support to drive performance, profitability, and growth. The role bridges finance and operations to ensure financial objectives align with business strategy.

The role will work closely with the business on performance and planning, highlighting and escalating where revenue or yield deviates from expectation, campaign or client economics deteriorate and forecast assumptions are no longer valid.

The right candidate will progressively demonstrate independent commercial judgement, ability to frame decisions without reliance, confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

·        Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA)

·        Strong analytical, leadership skills with a right first-time approach

·        Advanced proficiency in Excel

·        Power Query and Power BI Experience needed

·        PowerPoint skills

·        Self-starter

·        Strong analytical skills

·        Demonstrated experience of working towards tight deadlines

·        Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at all levels
