Finance Coordinator
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Are you an organised and proactive finance professional looking to develop your career within the property sector? We're delighted to be partnering with a well-established property company in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Coordinator to join their collaborative finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced environment where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of finance and property management activities, playing a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
The Role
As Finance Coordinator, you'll provide administrative and financial support across the wider property finance team, ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating the property management system, including lease information, service charge budgets and wider portfolio data
- Supporting the finance team with daily activities, including invoice processing, reconciliations and general administration
- Assisting with daily banking activities during busy periods and providing holiday cover where required
- Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of annual service charge accounts
- Preparing scheduled and ad-hoc tenant billing, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
- Assisting the credit control team with arrears management and customer account queries
- Supporting Accounts Payable activities, including invoice coding, supplier queries and invoice verification
- Managing incoming correspondence, including opening, scanning and organising documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of client financial reports and reporting packs for review by the Client Accountant
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support to both the Finance and Property Management teams
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a busy team.
You'll ideally have:
- At least two years' experience within a finance, accounts or administrative role
- Experience within the property sector would be advantageous
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good time management and customer service skills
- A proactive approach and a desire for continuous improvement
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities
A degree in a relevant discipline and a full driving licence would be advantageous but are not essential.
