Interim Finance Manager

Hybrid Working | Glasgow Area | Immediate Start

Morgan Hunt are currently supporting a well-established housing organisation with the appointment of an Interim Finance Manager on a temporary basis.

This is a broad and visible leadership role within a busy finance function, offering the opportunity to support operational delivery while contributing to wider strategic and organisational objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role across financial management, reporting, treasury activity, budgeting and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the day-to-day finance function
  
• Budget preparation, forecasting and management reporting
  
• Treasury management and cashflow forecasting
  
• Supporting statutory accounts, audit and regulatory reporting
  
• Partnering with operational managers and budget holders
  
• Leading and developing finance staff
  
• Supporting business planning and continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Contributing to wider strategic finance and operational projects
  
  About you:
  
• Professionally qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA or equivalent)
  
• Strong financial management and statutory accounting experience
  
• Previous leadership or finance team management experience
  
• Comfortable presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  
• Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
  
• Housing, charity, public sector or regulated sector experience would be advantageous
  
• Treasury, covenant compliance or business planning exposure would be beneficial
