What you need to know

Hours: 35hrs per week.

Contract type: Fixed Term until 31st October 2027

Location: Hybrid. You will spend part of your week at home, and part of your week in one of our offices.

What you’ll do

As a Finance officer, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Finance Buisness Partner. You’ll play an essential role in providing support on technical accounting and statutory matters, helping Glasgow Life maintain strong financial management and effective financial controls, while ensuring good stewardship of resources in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.

We’re looking for:

·      Someone who has an HNC/Association of Accounting Technician (AAT)/Part Qualified or qualified by experience.

·      Someone with a working knowledge of financial ledger systems.

·      Someone with established negotiating skills to influence and provide challenge to service areas.

·      Proficient in use of Microsoft packages.
