Pay Rate: 12.80 per hour, paid weekly
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

We're recruiting Finishing Operatives to join a busy and established manufacturing team in Perth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing work to a high standard. You'll become an important part of the finishing department, helping to make sure products are completed accurately, checked carefully and ready for the next stage of production or dispatch.

You don't need previous experience specifically within finishing. Full training will be provided, but previous production, manufacturing or factory experience is required. If you're reliable, have a keen eye for detail and are looking for stable, ongoing work, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Finishing Operative, you'll work as part of the production team to ensure finished products meet the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Finishing manufactured products accurately and to the required standards
• Visually inspecting products for defects, faults or inconsistencies
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Trimming, cleaning and preparing finished products
• Working carefully with small components and precision products
• Preparing completed products for packing or the next stage of production
• Following work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Handling products carefully to prevent damage
• Recording production and quality information accurately
• Identifying and reporting quality concerns
• Assisting with packing and labelling when required
• Keeping your workstation clean, safe and organised
• Supporting other areas of production during busy periods
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working with the team to achieve production and quality targets

Essential

To be considered, you should have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or factory environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• A strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work confidently with smaller components
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to maintain concentration when carrying out repetitive tasks

Physical Requirements

This is an active and hands-on production role, so you should be comfortable with:

• Standing for extended periods during your shift
• Carrying out repetitive production tasks
• Completing manual handling duties safely
• Working with your hands and handling smaller components
• Maintaining accuracy while working within a busy manufacturing environment
