Falkirk Council has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Food & Safety team to undertake the full range of food law duties.


Applicants must hold the Scottish Food Safety Officers' Registration Board Higher Certificate in Food Practice or received written confirmation from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) of the equivalency of their qualifications.


The ability to work as part of a team is essential although the ability to work unsupervised is also required.


You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting and IT skills. You must be mobile throughout the Council area and be able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the post.


The role will be delivered on a hybrid working model giving the successful applicant the opportunity to combine working from home, in the field and in the office.
