Food Service assistant

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at HMRC Glasgow, Queensway House. You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming catering environment while supporting the kitchen and café with food service, cleaning, stock handling, and excellent customer service.,

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen, café, dining areas, and pot wash.
• Support food service by replenishing catering stations and assisting customers.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries using stock rotation procedures.
• Operate the till and follow cash handling procedures (training provided).
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Report maintenance issues and hazards promptly.
• Assist with general catering duties and support the wider team as required.
  
  A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Previous catering or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
