Food Service assistant

You will support the catering operation by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, dining areas and café, while providing excellent service to customers.,

• Carry out catering and cleaning duties across the site.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, café and dining areas.
• Support pot wash and ensure crockery, cutlery, equipment and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Receive deliveries, check temperatures and store goods correctly using stock rotation procedures.
• Replenish catering stations with tea, coffee, milk and other refreshments.
• Operate the till and complete cashing-up procedures following training.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and HACCP procedures.
• Report any faults, hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to customer queries or complaints.
• Assist with the movement of goods and furniture when required.
• Attend training and team meetings as required.
• Support colleagues and provide additional cover when needed.
