Forklift Driver

The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting for a Forklift Driver (dayshift) on behalf of Pitreavie Packaging.,

• Understanding of Health and Safety rules and regulations in the workplace


• Daily equipment safety checks


• Load and unload goods efficiently and effectively


• Check consignments against documentation for description, quality, and condition


• Report discrepancies, including shortages and damages against documentation


• Locate, store and stack goods as per customer requirements


• Order, pick and collate goods from location


• Ensure all documentation is completed and processed correctly


• Perform other warehouse duties and housekeeping


• Working as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch
  
  Reach truck, Counterbalance and Flexi-truck experience is essential


• A practical hands-on approach


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to function well as part of a team.


• Great attention to detail and attention to safety.


• Ability to work under pressure.

This position is full time, on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 07:00 - 17.00 and Thursday 07:00 - 16:30.


Salary - Negotiable dependant on experience with the corrugated industry.,
