Front of House

Global Highland are currently recruiting for Front of House for a busy cafe and tourist centre in Fort Augustus.

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused team members ideally with barista experience to join full time for the rest of the summer season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale)
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food and ice cream
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
• Replenish stock, condiments, and display items as needed.
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service 
• Barista experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive, and approachable personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.

What's on Offer

• Full time 35 hours 0830-1730
• £13.45 per hour
• 4 days on, 2 days off so always guaranteed 2 days off together
