This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional catering operation, delivering outstanding food service and customer care within a prestigious school environment.As part of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent service standards, maintaining food safety, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the catering operation.What you'll do:Deliver excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for Sodexo, communicating professionally with customers, clients, and colleagues.Serve customers during busy service periods, prepare and serve food to company standards, and assist with breakfast preparation, basic cooking, and hospitality services.Ensure counters, displays, salad bars, and
service areas are fully stocked, clean, tidy, and well presented throughout service.Maintain cleanliness across front of house, kitchen, wash-up, and customer areas, following cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.Follow all food safety, health & safety, COSHH, and company procedures, ensuring food is served safely and at the correct standards.Report any faulty equipment, damaged items, or food safety concerns promptly, and support operational checks, stock control, and wastage reporting.Work closely with the team, attend training and briefings, support site events and promotions, and carry out any additional duties as required by management.What you'll bring:We're looking for someone who is:Has a catering background, Front of house experience and kitchen experiencePositive, motivated, and customer-focusedAble to work efficiently in a busy environmentA strong team player with good communication skillsFlexible and willing to support different areas of the operationPassionate about
