Front of House Catering Assistant - Film Crew

We are an outside catering company specialising in TV + Film location catering. We are currently seeking a front of house assistant to join us on our current project, catering a TV production in Leith starting immediately - 21st June.

In a typical day we will be serving breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack (Monday - Friday but some weekend work will be required). Our days will start early (circa 6am and finish circa 4pm).

We are at the mercy of a film schedule and so some days will be in the studio, some days will be on location in and around Edinburgh. Own transport is preferable.

We like to think our food is interesting and will change on a daily basis. There is opportunity for lots of creative input. We are looking for Front of House Catering Assistants that are passionate about hospitality and serving the crew of circa 130 daily.

It is vital that you are able to work as a team in a close-knit environment and understand the importance of safe hygiene practices. You will be working out of our mobile catering unit, whilst it will be warm due to cooking appliances the unit is largely open to the elements.

From time to time you may be required to pickup supplies and so a driving licence is preferred.

£12.00 - £13.50 an hour - Fixed term contract, Pay is weekly and will be done through PAYE. This is a fixed term contract opportunity with extended work likely to happen after this project is finished.
