Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.


Working 29.6 hrs per week, we are open to a variety of working arrangements, over 4 days, 5 days and shorter hours - to be decided with the candidate. Evening and weekend work will be required. Requirements


HNC/SCQ3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area or relevant equivalent experience.


Responsibilities



  • Support the promotion and growth of our music venue and museums.

  • Develop content about live music, events, and audience engagement, with digital marketing and brand development.

  • Working across the Caird Hall, McManus Galleries, Mills Observatory and Broughty Ferry Castle.


The Individual


You will have significant experience leading front of house or visitor services teams delivering a first-class customer service operation in a hospitality, entertainment or events environment. You will also have extensive people management experience. The ability to set staff standards and monitor delivery through effective performance management. Proven ability to manage change and continual improvement strategies. You will have a strong customer orientation and experience of sensitive handling of customer complaints. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as necessary will be required.
