General Youth Worker
North Walls Youth Club
2 hours per week, 20 weeks per year
Temporary up to 31 March 2027
£30,060 - £30,662 pro rata
£16.47 - £16.80 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to a Community Learning and Development Officer.
Your working pattern is 2 hours per week, 20 weeks per year. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The role of the General Youth Worker is to provide support to the Senior Youth Worker in developing a varied weekly programme of activities, in consultation with club members.
You should have experience and an understanding of working with children and young people in an informal setting. Therefore, if you are keen to get involved in youth work and wish to further develop your current experience in supporting and working with young people, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
In addition, the appointed person will be required to attend other meetings and will be offered a comprehensive training programme, over and above club sessions.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
