Golfers' Assistants

We are seeking friendly, proactive and customer-focused Golfers' Assistants to join our Craigtoun Clubhouse team for the 2026 season. Working closely with the wider Clubhouse operations team, the Golfers' Assistants helps ensure efficient operations, clear communication, and a welcoming environment that reflects the standards and reputation of St Andrews Links - The Home of Golf.,

• Deliver key aspects of front of house operations in a professional and efficient manner
• Meet and greet members, ticket holders and visitors, providing a warm and positive first impression
• Offer assistance, guidance, and accurate information regarding facilities, services and events
• Support the daily operations and set-up of the driving-range, and retail shop
• Manage bag drop-off, storage and collection procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all Clubhouse facilities and equipment
• Assist with general operational duties as required to support the wider team
  
  St Andrews, separating the farmland and the dunes of the beach, was ideal for golf and, in 1552, Archbishop Hamilton issued a Charter formally recognising the right of the people of St Andrews to use the Links for golf.
Over centuries a recognised routing with set holes took shape and by 1764 18 holes were established, becoming the standard bearer for the game wherever it is played. Over the next 250 years St Andrews Links would be transformed, undertaking a dramatic transformation of the golfing landscape with six further golf courses, three clubhouses, a state-of-the-art Golf Academy and five official stores, all making it the most renowned golf complex in the world. If you love golf then there is no better place to work, however that isn't essential to be a success here.
