Group Accountant

Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Group Accountant for our client based in Perth on a 1 year fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent for the right individual. This position offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience + 34 days annual leave & a bonus up to 10%. This role offers a 35 hour week and also hybrid working. 

The Job Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working as part of a small team; you will be responsible for financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis and statutory reporting for multiple entities within the group.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Quarterly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
• Support in the preparation of statutory accounts and audit
• Completion of monthly, quarterly & annual tax reporting (training on corporation tax will be provided)
• Financial analysis and providing insight to management
• Multi-currency accounting

The Person

You will bring:

• A recognised professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, although part qualified and qualified by experience will also be considered)
• Strong experience in management accounting including variance analysis
• Experience preparing year-end / statutory accounts
• Experience working in multi-currency is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent IT skills including Excel
