Group Finance Manager

Location: Greater Glasgow (Hybrid | 2 days in office)

A high-growth, private equity-backed business is seeking to appoint a Group Finance Manager to join its central finance function.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, this role will take ownership of group reporting, consolidation, and financial control, while playing a key role in driving process improvement and systems development across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead group consolidation, month-end close, and board reporting processes
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation for group and subsidiary entities
• Manage group and subsidiary audits and ensure tax compliance (corporation tax, VAT)
• Support integration of acquisitions, including establishing accounting processes
• Drive improvements in finance systems, including ERP and reporting tools
• Enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures across the group
• Manage and develop a small team

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting and group reporting experience
• Background in a multi-entity or group environment
• Experience of audit, tax, and financial controls
• Proven track record in systems implementation and process improvement
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
