Full Job Description
As a Remote Group Travel Planner (Sales-Focused), you'll help groups turn we should all go somewhere together into a confirmed trip that everyone is excited about. You'll combine destination knowledge, group logistics, and a consultative sales approach to match teams, companies, families, and friend groups with the right destination, accommodations, activities, and travel experience-whether it's a sports team tournament, corporate retreat, incentive trip, family reunion, milestone celebration, or friends' getaway. What You'll Do
- Connect with group leaders to understand trip goals, group size, budget, preferred dates, destination ideas, and must-have experiences.
- Recommend destinations, hotels or resorts, room blocks, transportation options, meeting spaces, team-building activities, and group excursions that fit the group's purpose and budget.
- Turn group inquiries into confirmed trips through email, chat, and phone with energy, accuracy, and a client-first approach.
- Explain group travel details clearly, including deposit structures, payment schedules, cancellation policies, rooming lists, name changes, and travel requirements.
- Coordinate group logistics: room allocations, special requests, group rates, contracts, deposits, final payments, and pre-trip communication.
- Handle changes, questions, and concerns quickly and professionally so group leaders and participants feel supported from first quote through return home.
- Share valuable insights on destinations, group-friendly resorts, team activities, corporate meeting facilities, family experiences, and seasonal opportunities.
- Build post-booking relationships that encourage repeat group trips, referrals, testimonials, and long-term partnerships., Comprehensive onboarding and training on group travel, supplier platforms, negotiation and sales conversations, and travel planning.
- A collaborative, supportive team atmosphere with colleagues who want to see you succeed.

- Clear paths toward leadership and higher earning potential.
Interest in group travel, sports travel, corporate meetings and incentives, family reunions, or destination celebrations. - Travel-industry, sales, hospitality, event planning, customer-service, or booking experience is preferred-but not required. Zero experience is welcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to guide group leaders toward decisions.
- Strong organization skills and comfort managing multiple group quotes, rooming lists, contracts, follow-ups, and client details.
- Comfort with technology, online booking platforms, CRM systems, and AI tools-we will train you on the rest.
- A genuine passion for bringing people together through travel and creating memorable shared experiences.
