Fixed Term to 31 July 2027

35 hours per week (1 FTE)

£34,848 per annum

As a member of the Student Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective delivery of a range of guidance and support services for students.   

Your main duties will include supporting the Raising Income through Skills and Education (RISE) initiative to provide holistic ‘Whole Family Support’ to address structural barriers like childcare, housing and transport, ensuring learner choice and direct upskilling opportunities for low-paid workers are available to drive career progression.       

With a relevant HND/Degree qualification the successful candidate will have experience of providing guidance and direct student support. An effective and confident communicator you will have excellent IT skills and have experience of working with cross college, lecturing and support functions.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by South Lanarkshire College.
