Full Job Description
- Must be a hands-on Head Chef with the ability to cook with fresh ingredients and present dishes, in line with specification, recipes, in a fast paced environment. Lead from the front, train and inspire your team to produce consistent, fresh food
- Check all dishes on pass before serving
- The capability to deliver food GP% to budget
- Experience in all kitchen administration, management of stock control with good computer skills
- Experience of recruitment, training and coaching junior chefs and staff, ideally use of Flow Modular Training Programme would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Working alongside our existing procurement and preferred supplier list but negotiating prices with dealing with suppliers on behalf of Mhor 84 and company
- Exemplary standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
- A strong understanding of food health and safety, keep all legislation and licences up to date
- Experience of being a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a Gastro Pub, hotel is a must as this is a senior role within a busy kitchen.
- Must have excellent command of English
- You must be able to drive with your own transport for this role to be considered.
- Excellent basic salary dependant on experience weekly paid
