Global Highland is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected Health & Safety consultancy, seeking a practical and people-focused Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client base across the North of Scotland and beyond, including sectors such as construction, estates, care, and local businesses. You’ll play a key role in delivering clear, practical advice that supports compliance, strengthens safety culture, and builds long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities


Act as a main point of contact for day-to-day health & safety support~

Carry out site audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Support clients in developing and enhancing safety documentation and systems

Deliver engaging and effective training sessions

Assist with CDM projects, supporting duty holders in meeting their responsibilities

Conduct incident investigations and produce detailed reports

Contribute to business development and company growth

Support internal processes and continuous improvement initiatives


What We’re Looking For


Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)

Working towards or holding a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Full UK driving licence


Skills & Experience:

Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and its practical application

Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Proven experience developing and improving safety systems and procedures

Experience working on CDM projects

Ability to deliver training confidently and effectively

Skilled in incident investigation and report writing

Broad understanding of workplace risks across multiple sectors

Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Chartered status or working towards (desirable)
