Full Job Description
Experteer Overview As Health & Safety Advisor, you will support all business lines across North & Scotland to enhance health and safety management and performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to embed a proactive safety culture and ensure safe outcomes across projects with customers and partners. You will lead and advise on the safety management system, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions. This role offers visibility in a global organization with opportunities to influence safety practices and continuous improvement. Pay / Benefits
- Lead and provide expertise on all health and safety matters Support implementation and improvement of the safety management system (worker, user, third-party) Foster a caring safety culture and maintain safety documentation with the safety team Participate in safety committees and forums and drive safety projects Collaborate with customers and partners including subcontractors Monitor and improve safety risk management processes and practices Support safety-related change management initiatives Collect, analyse, and utilise leading and lagging safety data Monitor legal developments in safety and implement relevant actions Conduct regular safety audits to verify compliance and drive corrective actions Investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive actions Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement Develop competences as a safety specialist and communicate findings and best practices Provide cover for H&S team during leave, possibly including London/M25 when needed Tasks NEBOSH qualification is desirable Industry experience desirable Construction or engineering background beneficial Good knowledge of applicable safety regulations Knowledge and experience of ISO 45001:2018 Problem solving, incident management, auditing and analysis skills People management, training, presentation and communication skills Ability to work in digital and mobile environments Project and change management skills Strong written and spoken English Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Willingness to obtain external accreditations with support Key requirements competitive salary 25 days holiday and bank holidays Company Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance Bonus Hybrid Working
