HGV Class 1 Driver

Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for RDC to RDC trunking work with a national logistics business based in Motherwell, paying 21.44 to 24.57 per hour.

Our client moves freight between distribution centres across the UK, with consistent shifts and ongoing work for drivers who want it.

What's on offer?

• Paid weekly at 21.44 to 24.57 per hour
• Working 5 days from 7, with shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours
• Ongoing work with the possibility of a permanent position

Please note: successful applicants must hold a valid DBS and be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history.

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:

• Collecting and delivering full trailer loads between sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before departure
• Keeping to driver's hours regulations and completing all paperwork accurately

To be considered as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
