We are looking to recruit a highly specialist occupational therapist. This is a new post to develop and test occupational therapy within Primary Care in Angus and builds on the success of work already happening in other Scottish Board areas. The focus of the work is for the occupational therapist to assess and treat people with frailty, enabling people to remain in work and to support those with low level mental health needs. Experience in self-management is essential. You should be an experienced occupational therapist with the confidence to manage a complex and varied clinical caseload with ability and experience of supporting and educating others. You should have skills in leading and being involved quality improvement. If you have excellent collaborative and leadership skills, you could become a great asset to our service. The post will be based within Academy Medical Centre, Forfar, Angus.
The Occupational Therapy Service in Angus offers comprehensive support, supervision and is committed to Continued Professional Development and actively uses Turas.
You should possess a BSc/Dip COT in Occupational Therapy, have extensive post graduate experience, be registered with HCPC and must produce evidence of continuing personal development. A requirement of this post is a willingness to travel across the locality.
