Hire & Sales Assistant (Part-Time)

Duties involve answering customer queries by phone, email & in person. Measuring customers for hire outfits & purchases. Preparing hires for collection & checking them on return. Other responsibilities include keeping the shops clean & tidy and pressing items. The ideal applicants would have good communication and good customer service skills. . The ideal candidate should be able and willing to work in both the Dundee & Broughty Ferry branches.

McCalls has a part-time position within our Dundee & Broughty Ferry branches and are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to join their team. These can be very busy stores especially during wedding season.

A knowledge of highland wear and/or hire would be preferable, and basic computer literacy would also be an advantage. A keen eye for detail is essential for this role as well as being fit and able bodied as it is a physical job., To be successful in this role you will have to be tidy, reliable, organised, work within deadlines, hardworking with a keen eye for detail and have good communication skills.

Contracted hours will be 6.5; this is one shift from 9.30am until 4.30pm with half an hour lunch break. These positions will not suit school pupils as weekday shifts will be required.
