An exciting opportunity has arisen for caring, compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our care at home teams in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Northeast Fife Locality.

We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of service users in the local communities, you will be a people person who is passionate about supporting our service users to maximise their independence, to remain living in their own homes. You will go home each day with a sense of achievement knowing you have made a difference to those that you support.

As this role involves attending service user homes, you must be able to travel across the wider Fife area. A vehicle may be provided, but where you are required to use your own vehicle, travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 per mile to staff using their own car. A generous pension scheme and holiday entitlement of 24 days rising to 29 days after 5 years' service (pro-rata). The Person

Caring, compassionate and motivated with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support to service users. Good communication skills. Ability to build effective working relationships with service users and their families. Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service. Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and be able to put these into practice. Hold or be able to work towards SVQ 2 as required by Scottish Social Services Council within the time frames set at point of registration. Option 1 (Split shift) 07:30 to 13:00, 17:00 to 21:30 = 35 hours per week

Option 3 (4.5 hours backshift) 17:00 to 21:30 = 15.75 hours per week
Option 4 (6 hours) 07:00 to 13:00 = 21 hours per week
Option 5 (6 hours) 16:00 to 22:00 = 21 hours per week
