Household Waste Services Recycling Operative (Permanent) - WDN06413

Job Description

As a Household Waste Services Recycling Operative, your role will be to work as part of a team and to carry out all duties involved in a Household Waste Recycling Centre. These include manual lifting, dealing with members of the public and other WDC departments whilst ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed on the site. You will advise members of the public on correct separation of waste, work in all weather conditions and keep the site in a tidy condition.

You will work on a rota system of four days on and four days off. There will be a requirement to work some Bank Holidays. The site closes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and the 2nd of January.
