Housekeeper

ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for a part time Housekeeper/ Domestic Assistant (20 Hours pw) to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Supported Living Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street provides a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities wo are older and/or have advancing needs.

Our frontline workers are incredible, caring and talented individuals whose skills are invaluable to supporting the well-being of some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

Your role will be to undertake general housekeeping/ domestic duties at our Esmond Street Supported Living service in Yorkhill. Duties will involve participating in the general running of the household from 4.30pm-9.30pm. These are the fixed shift times for this post. The successful applicant must have a positive attitude towards and sensitivity to the needs of adults with learning disabilities.
