Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to maintain the high standards of our guest accommodation. This role covers two locations: our No.1 High Street Boutique Rooms in Markinch and our Airbnb property located in the Kirkcaldy area. This role offers a flexible schedule tailored to our booking occupancy, making it ideal for those seeking a consistent part-time commitment.,

• Providing high-standard cleaning and turnover services for our boutique rooms and Airbnb apartment.
• Changing bed linen and towels to a professional, "guest-ready" standard.
• Ensuring all guest areas are thoroughly sanitised, stocked, and presented beautifully.
• Monitoring and reporting any maintenance issues or damages.
• Managing laundry requirements and replenishing guest amenities., You will be part of a great team where support and collaboration are valued.

• Work in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where staff and regulars feel at home.
  
  Previous experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. A willingness to learn is essential!
• A strong eye for cleanliness and the ability to follow specific presentation guidelines.
• You must be dependable and able to work independently to meet check-in deadlines.
• As the role spans both Markinch and Kirkcaldy, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferable.
• Availability for flexible working, including some weekends.
  
  Hours: Approx. 10 hours per week (Flexible/Variable based on bookings)
Salary: £10.80 - £12.71 per hour (rate depends on age and experience in line with National Minimum Wage guidelines)
