Full Job Description

You will work as a key member of staff within Support Services, being directly responsible for compliance with all Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) regulations through the supervision of housekeeping and laundry departments. You will ensure your team maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in a busy and challenging environment.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of IPC regulations and have experience in a similar role. You will report to the Domestic Manager and advise them of any changes in legislation and be the main point of contact for IPC, Housekeeping and Laundry matters for all staff. SVQ III or equivalent is desirable or willing to work towards. Good organisational skills with initiative are essential, along with a willingness to be flexible within a highly motivated workforce., The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland Check. Where a candidate has resided in the UK for less than five years and lived / remained in a country for six months or more, in addition to a Disclosure/PVG, they will be asked to complete a criminal records check application via HireRight.
