Post Title: Housing Development Assistant
Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness (Hybrid)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 23 months
Salary: £29,666 - £32,468 per annum
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
The Housing Development Assistant will play an integral role in delivering the Highland Council’s Development Service and support Housing Development Officers particularly in matters relating to delivery of the Councils Empty Homes Strategy and the Scheme of Assistance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team that strives for consistent improvement and development with a focus on excellent customer care.
Within this role you will work as part of a Development Team which delivers a broad range of housing projects. This is a varied and interesting role which will develop your skills, knowledge and experience within the social housing sector.
The Team works closely with owner occupiers and the Development Assistant is vital to providing an excellent customer service.
A commitment to excellent performance and a drive to deliver for Owner Occupiers and communities is a fundamental aspect of this role.
