Housing Officer

An established Housing Association in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management and delivering high-quality customer service within a social housing environment.
Your new role

• Managing a designated housing management patch
• Dealing with tenancy and estate management issues
• Supporting tenants through tenancy sustainment activities
• Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases
• Conducting property visits, inspections and home checks
• Managing rent arrears and supporting income maximisation activities
• Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to deliver effective housing services
• Maintaining accurate tenancy records and case notes

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or in a similar social housing role
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
• Experience managing tenancy and estate management cases
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
