Full Job Description

We are recruiting a temporary HR Assistant until 30 September 2027 to join our HR Team. The role is central to delivering high quality, inclusive HR services and supporting key priorities within our People Strategy.

 

About the Role

 

The post will provide effective administrative, systems and process support, contributing to the delivery of efficient, high-quality HR services. You will help ensure a positive and consistent experience for colleagues, candidates and partners, while supporting the effective running and continuous improvement of HR processes.

 

The postholder will play an important role in representing SCRA’s values and ensuring high standards are consistently delivered across HR services. Whilst these posts work across the team, each post will have a priority focus.

 

 

You will contribute directly to strengthening inclusive practice, improving workforce capability and supporting evidence-based decision making across SCRA.

 

This role will take a focus on recruitment and onboarding activity, supporting and delivering a high quality, inclusive candidate experience, alongside broader HR Administrative support including coordinating HR Helpdesk advice. You will play a key role in ensuring recruitment processes are efficient, inclusive and valuesdriven, helping SCRA attract and welcome talent that reflects the communities we serve.

 

About You

 

You will bring:

 

·      Experience of providing high quality administrative support in a fast-paced or dynamic environment

 

·      A commitment to delivering an inclusive, respectful and customer focused service

 

·      Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

 

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

·      The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion

 

·      Confidence in using Microsoft Office, Teams and digital systems

 

·      Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement

 

·      Ability to work with data and produce accurate reports, with good numeracy skills

 

You will be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience gained through work, volunteering or lived experience) and demonstrate behaviours aligned with SCRA’s values and inclusive standards.
