HR Business Adviser

6-Month Contract | 200 per day (Inside IR35) | Edinburgh | 2 Days Onsite

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Adviser to provide practical, professional HR support within a large and complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload, including conduct, grievance, attendance and performance matters.
• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and leaders.
• Build strong relationships across business areas to understand workforce challenges and priorities.
• Use workforce data and insights to support effective decision-making.
• Attend management meetings, providing a people-focused perspective.
• Work collaboratively across the HR team to ensure a consistent approach and share best practice.

Essential Experience:

• Proven employee relations case management experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex people issues with sound judgement.
• Experience analysing workforce data and identifying trends.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• CIPD qualified, accredited, or working towards qualification.
• Experience supporting HR policy development and review.
