Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will take ownership of all people-related matters across the group, helping to shape and deliver a people strategy that supports both current operations and long-term business growth.

This role offers significant autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the group's people strategy in alignment with the wider business strategy.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner to deliver the annual HR and people plan.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all HR-related matters across the group.
  • Provide regular reporting on key people metrics including headcount, retention, absence and employee engagement.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Lead recruitment activity across the group, including job design, advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination and offer management.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records across all group companies.

Employee Relations

  • Lead and manage formal HR processes including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure all employee relations matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with current employment legislation and ACAS guidance.
  • Provide practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers and leaders.

Learning & Development

  • Design and implement a structured learning and development framework across all roles and levels.
  • Coordinate and oversee training programmes covering technical, management, compliance and soft skills development.
  • Manage the annual appraisal process, ensuring consistency, fairness and alignment with business objectives and individual KPIs.

Culture & Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the group.
  • Develop programmes that support an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing workplace environment.
  • Champion company values and contribute to a positive employee experience.

Compliance & Best Practice

  • Maintain and develop HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organisational values.
  • Stay up to date with employment law developments and HR best practice, advising leadership on any implications.

About You

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
