HR Projects Manager - 14 month FTC
Edinburgh (flexible working)
£40,000 - £45,000
Iconic Resourcing are working with a dynamic professional body based in Edinburgh to appoint an HR Project Manager to join their established HR team for a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
In this role, you'll lead strategic projects that drive the People Strategy so you must have extensive experience in Project Management as well as a passion for HR to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic HR Projects: Develop and implement projects that align with the People Strategy, including new HR initiatives and schemes.
- Advance People Accreditations: Oversee and progress organisation-wide People accreditations.
- Co-Lead EDI Working Group: Support the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion goals in alignment with the values and strategic objectives.
- Policy Development: Lead policy initiatives to ensure compliance with legislative changes and align with best practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, present, and analyse key reports, including the Gender Pay Gap Reporting.
- Enhance Employee Experience: Identify opportunities for improvement to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate Across HR Team: Support broader HR activities and initiatives as needed.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- HR Expertise: Extensive generalist HR experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Project & Change Management: Proven experience in project management, from initial planning through to full implementation.
- EDI Advocacy: Prior experience in roles supporting an organisation’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion goals.
- Legislative Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK employment law across HR functions.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically, innovatively, and solve complex problems.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and multitask.
