Full Job Description

Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a HSQE Coordinator to join our client in South Lanarkshire. 


The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:45 and Friday 08:30 to 14:00.


Salary - £28,000-£33,000 DOE.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the administration of Quality, Environmental, BRC, and Health & Safety management systems.

• Supporting the Quality Manager by coordinating the site’s non-conformance processes with internal teams, external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

• Maintaining detailed records of non-conformances, audit findings, corrective actions, and registers, and using this data to generate reports, including trend analyses and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Organising and facilitating local management meetings related to the relevant management systems.

• Managing the audit schedule to ensure compliance with the Plant’s accreditations.

• Handling internal corrective actions and customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), updating tracking systems, and following up on outstanding actions.

• Conducting daily quality process checks to ensure standards are met.

• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to plan and monitor maintenance of machinery and ancillary equipment.

• Attending customer sites as required.

• Leading and overseeing the HACCP team to ensure food safety standards are effectively implemented.


Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Prior experience or familiarity with BRCGS and ISO standards is advantageous.

• Proficiency in quality inspection, with preferred qualifications including Internal Auditor certification and Level 3 HACCP training.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both internal teams and external customers.

• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to solve problems effectively.

• Competent in using computer systems, particularly MS Office tools and applications.

• Proactive and adaptable, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.

• Exceptional organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
