Early Years Scotland is looking to recruit an organised, enthusiastic, and detailed oriented person with great administrative skills and sound HR experience who can join our friendly team and make a positive impact in supporting all aspects of our HR related work. We would love to hear from you if you are: Enthusiastic, adaptable, self-motivating and solution focused. Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, electronic filing, and e-mail Experience of implementing and operating HR solutions and systems including (preferably) Breathe HR system. Experience of recruitment processes and inducting new staff Experience of minute taking Committed to confidentiality and have awareness of the need for sensitivity in a people facing HR role. Experienced In, or willing to learn to support payroll processes. Keen to tackle new challenges and grasp new opportunities. Willing to learn, develop and improve your expertise, skills and knowledge. Adept at multi-tasking with high standards and an eye for detail. An absolute necessity for this post is an excellent level of competence, confidence and accuracy in written and verbal communication including a knowledge of sound HR processes and legislation and a willingness to keep abreast of employment law legislative changes and good practice. Who are we and what do we do? Early Years Scotland is Scotland’s leading national Third Sector specialist organisation that supports our youngest children from birth to 5 years of age. Our fully qualified early years staff work directly with children and their families to deliver our unique Stay Play and Learn sessions in a variety of settings including nurseries, community halls, schools and prisons. We work increasingly in prisons, and areas where there are children and families who have the greatest need, and will benefit most from our services. We have been established for over 50 years, and we are very proud of our long and ever-growing track record in supporting Scotland’s youngest children to have the very best start in life.
