  • Fault-find and resolve electrical issues safely, efficiently and to the required technical standard.
  • Deliver electrical construction, compliance and control in line with relevant regulations, client standards and WGM requirements.
  • Interpret RAMS, prepare daily task-specific risk assessments and follow safe systems of work.
  • Carry out electrical isolations and process instructions in line with WGM Electrical Safety Rules and Isolation Safety Rules.
  • Review design information, support onsite design changes and complete red-line mark-ups for as-built drawings.
  • Support quality, health and safety, continual improvement and compliance across electrical works.
  • Work with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and wider delivery teams to support safe, high-quality project delivery., You will be joining a business delivering essential infrastructure across the UK water sector, with long-term secured work, varied sites and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
  • We invest in our people through training, mentoring, technical development and opportunities to progress. For this role, that includes training towards Competent Person level in relation to Electrical Safety Rules and Isolation Safety Rules where appropriate.

  • Time-served electrical experience gained through a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
  • SVQ Level 3 Electrical, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a valid ECS card.
  • Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning or construction.
  • Experience working in industrial, utilities, infrastructure, water, manufacturing, process, energy or similar site-based environments.
  • Good knowledge of safe systems of work, electrical compliance and current electrical regulations.
  • Strong fault-finding, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence working on site with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and wider delivery teams.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to and from sites, including working away from home when required.
